Our Programs
Help us serve those who have served us
Care Packages
Care Packages are sent to active military personnel who are serving overseas. They are a small token of our appreciation to the men and women in uniform who have made sacrifices many of us cannot imagine. Though our gratitude reaches beyond these packages, this is Operation Not Alone’s way of showing our gratefulness. Each care package is uniquely hand-packed with the following:
A handmade personalized branch-specific tie blanket
Cards and letters of thanks from the community
Non-perishable snacks
Hygiene items
Every day essentials
Tokens and reminders of home

Veteran Cheer Packages
Cheer Packages are sent to former military personnel- veterans- in our database. They are a small token of our appreciation for the sacrifices our military veterans have made while defending our freedom. Though our gratitude reached beyond these packages, this is Operation Not Alone’s way of showing our gratitude toward those who have served in the military.
Cheer packages are sent out annually around Veteran’s Day, and include:
Letter of thanks and appreciation
Exclusive ONA coffee blends sponsored by Door County Coffee and Tea Co.
Enjoy a pot of Hero’s Blend or Veteran’s Blend on us this Veterans Day! (Non-flavored coffee)
Patriotic Chocolates

Never Alone Nursing Home Visits
Never Alone Nursing Home Visits occur around the holidays, and traditionally have been delivered to veteran residents in nursing homes on Christmas Eve. We choose different nursing homes around the state of Wisconsin each year and create custom blankets to deliver to the veterans in the nursing home. We recognize that the holidays can be a particularly lonely time for veterans and those in a nursing home, especially in the event that they do not have family members, or family members to visit them. We come in, as a surprise to the veteran, and with the assistance of a nurse on staff, to deliver these blankets, gifts, and say a simple, “Happy Holidays and thank you for your service.”
