Question: Where does the money go?
Answer: Operation Not Alone is proud of the way it manages the generous contributions from individual donors, businesses, and grants. 100% of funds go right back into the mission of ONA and we pride ourselves on being an all-volunteer organization where no employee, board member, or volunteer receives compensation for their work.
Question: How long will it take for my merchandise to arrive?
Answer: If an item is in stock, items will be shipped within 7-10 business days.
Question: Do you accept care package donations? If so, where can I drop them off?
Answer: Yes we do! Check out our “Care Packages” page for a list of items we need. If you’re shopping on Amazon, donations can be sent to either our Wisconsin or our New York address- don’t forget to use Amazon Smile and select Operation Not Alone as your charity of choice!
Question: Is my monetary donation tax deductible?
Answer: Yes! Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a receipt of your donation for proof of taxes.
Question: How can I get involved?
Answer: As an all-volunteer organization, we LOVE and appreciate your help! Below are a few ways that you can get involved with the ONA mission: ubmit an active duty service member for a Care Package request
- Submit a veteran for a Cheer Package request
- Create a fundraiser
- Host a Care Package Supply Drive
- Help us pack Cheer Packages around Veterans Day
- Stay tuned for dates/times
- Create blankets for our Care Packages or Never Alone Nursing Home Visits
Question: Does the military personnel have to be family?
Answer: No, we encourage you to fill out a form for any active duty service member or veteran that you know! Whether they be a family member, friend, neighbor, co-worker, or acquaintance!
